Is it permissible for teachers to draw a star for outstanding students as encouragement, knowing that this star is present on the flag of Israel?

It is not permissible for a teacher to draw the six-pointed Star of David (Magen David) for his outstanding students as a form of encouragement. This is because it involves imitating disbelievers and weakens loyalty to Muslims. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade this, saying: "He is not of us who imitates others," and "Whoever imitates a people is one of them." This apparent imitation may lead to a blameworthy form of allegiance. However, if the drawn star is ordinary and not six-pointed, there is no harm in it, though it is preferable to motivate students with what brings them closer to Allah and strengthens their loyalty to their religion.
