An adult child who is capable of earning does not have his maintenance obligatory upon his father. As for a married daughter, her maintenance and the maintenance of her children are upon her husband. If the mother takes money unjustly, she should be advised, and if she does not respond, there is no harm in informing the father. If the wife works for wages and her husband withholds her right, she may take her right without his knowledge.
