Is it permissible to sell expertise by creating an indicator to provide buy and sell signals for a fee, or to sell buy and sell recommendations, or to trade and earn from it with the intention of helping the poor without receiving any personal compensation, knowing that binary options are impermissible (haram)?

Trading in binary options is impermissible because the object of the contract is not money, nor a usufruct, nor a financial right that can be exchanged for consideration. The item being sold is the choice itself. These contracts involve gharar (definition) (excessive uncertainty) and gambling. Furthermore, it is forbidden to provide expertise and advice on platforms that sell binary options for a fee, as this constitutes aiding in a prohibited sale. Allah the Almighty says: ﴿And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression﴾ (Al-Ma'idah/2). The earnings resulting from this are unlawful, and it is not permissible to commit what is unlawful to help those in need.
