Is the Hadith "He who makes a worshiper laugh is as if he made seventy prophets cry" authentic, and how can one verify the authenticity of Hadith?

We have not come across any origin for the aforementioned Hadith. Verification of a Hadith's authenticity is done by referring to Hadith sources and the grading provided by Hadith scholars, if you are not a scholar of Hadith yourself.
