Is it permissible for a wife to take money from her husband without his knowledge for cosmetic purposes, which the wife seeks to remain beautiful in her husband's eyes, provided that this does not affect household expenses?

If the husband spends equitably, the wife is not permitted to take anything from his money without his permission, based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: “The woman is a guardian in her husband’s house and is responsible for her charge,” and his saying: “A woman should not spend anything from her house except with her husband’s permission.” It is not permissible to save anything from his money without his permission as long as he does not fall short in providing for her. However, if he gives her money as a gift or for her to spend on herself, she may save from it without his knowledge. But if he gives it to her for household expenses, it is not permissible to save from it except with his permission.
