Does the person who points to good deeds receive the rewards associated with performing these good deeds, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace be upon him): "Whoever points to something, he will have a reward like that of its doer"?

He who guides you to good deeds and encourages you to do them will be rewarded, for the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever calls to guidance will have a reward like that of those who follow him, without diminishing their rewards in the slightest."

The meaning of "a reward like that of its doer" is that he receives a reward for guiding, but it does not necessarily mean that the two rewards are equal in amount. His reward differs from the reward of the one who performs the good deed, and this is what Al-Nawawi and Ibn Al-Jawzi clarified in their commentary on the hadith (definition).
