Is it obligatory to convey every piece of knowledge about the religion of Allah, even if it leads to the corruption and deviation of the recipients, while fearing deviation and enduring harm? And to whom should the conveyance be; is it only to one's own people or to all people?

Conveying knowledge involves teaching the ignorant, enjoining good, and forbidding evil. If there are not enough people of knowledge, then it becomes an obligation upon whoever knows the situation to teach them. People should be informed about what they are ignorant of concerning the rulings of their religion, as long as no harm is feared, while exercising patience in the face of what afflicts them, as stated in Surat Luqman. Those closest to a person have the first right to guidance, instruction, and education. Forbidding evil should be done gently and kindly, without insult or violence, with wisdom and good admonition, as in Surat An-Nahl. One must be wary of deviation when associating with people, while bearing in mind that there are great benefits and rewards in associating with them, provided there is safety from temptation.
