What is the sign mentioned in verse 29 of Surat Al-Fath in the Torah concerning the Companions and the mark of prostration?

The Holy Quran, in Surat Al-Fath, states that the attributes and virtues of the Companions are mentioned in the Torah and the Gospel. They are "strong against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating, seeking bounty from Allah and [His] pleasure. Their mark is on their faces from the trace of prostration."

Some scholars have stated that the current Torah does not contain an explicit mention of these attributes, while others believe that some phrases in the circulated Torah today carry the meanings of this verse. For example, what is stated in the "Book of Deuteronomy" about the description of Mount Paran (Mecca) and the mention of a people who loved His holy ones, which points to the attributes of the Companions, such as mercy and worship.

On the other hand, others have concluded that the Jews distorted the Torah and concealed these tidings, citing Quranic verses that mention the distortion of their scriptures by the People of the Book, such as the Almighty's saying: ("So woe to those who write the book with their hands and then say, 'This is from Allah,'") and His saying: ("And indeed, a party of them conceal the truth while they know.").

It is definitive that the Torah at the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, contained these tidings. However, after it became clear to the Jews that the Prophet and his Companions were not among them, they concealed and distorted these tidings out of envy.
