Is it permissible to work in the distribution of newspapers and magazines that may contain forbidden images?

Newspapers and magazines vary. Some specialize in beneficial sciences and permissible news, while others specialize in spreading and promoting indecency through their lewd images and destructive ideas. Some are primarily for news dissemination but include images of immodestly dressed women and the like.

Magazines prepared for photography and fashion are impermissible to sell, buy, or possess. However, for magazines and newspapers not prepared for photography but containing unintended images, it appears that blurring them is not obligatory.

There is no harm in distributing and selling news and cultural newspapers and journals, even if they contain some images of immodestly dressed women, due to the widespread nature of this affliction.

As for newspapers and journals that publish evil and vice, whose pages are filled with images of immodestly dressed women, and whose articles overflow with calls to disobedience or promote forbidden things; it is not permissible to distribute, sell, or possess them.
