Is it permissible to act upon the opinion of jurists who hold that a word is not a kinayah (allusion), despite disagreeing with one of them, and the questioner believing it is not a kinayah? And is it permissible to follow the opinion of the majority and the most knowledgeable, despite the questioner's doubt and certainty that it is a kinayah?

The fundamental principle for a layperson, when confronted with differing opinions among Muftis, is to act upon the opinion that reassures him of its correctness and its conformity with the truth. It is not permissible for him to act upon an opinion about whose correctness he entertains doubt. As for the person afflicted with Waswas (obsessive doubts), who doubts a fatwa due to his Waswas, he must disregard these doubts. It is permissible for him to act upon the easiest of opinions, and this is not considered blameworthy leniency.
