What is the interpretation of the Quranic verse: "Indeed, We have produced them in a [new] creation and made them virgins, devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age, for the companions of the right – a company from the former peoples and a company from the later peoples," and does it mean that the reward of a righteous woman is to be a gift to her husband, and her desires in Paradise are limited to his love only, while he enjoys the Houris?

The Quranic verses do not exclusively describe the blessings for men in Paradise; they also include women, as in the Almighty's saying: "Allah has promised the believing men and believing women gardens beneath which rivers flow."

The believing woman in Paradise will attain everything that souls desire and eyes delight in, as in the Almighty's saying: "No soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes as reward for what they used to do."

The Almighty's saying: "Indeed, We have produced them anew, and made them virgins, devoted to their husbands and of equal age," includes the women of this world who will be re-created as young, virgin, loving wives to their husbands, and it also includes the Houris. The "lam" in "for the companions of the right" does not signify ownership but rather entitlement and designation.

The believing woman in Paradise will be purified from evil manners, so she will not yearn for anyone other than her husband, as the Almighty said: "In them are women limiting their glances."

The believing woman will be able to meet her relatives and family in Paradise, as stated in the Almighty's saying: "Gardens of Eden which they will enter and [also] those who صالح from their fathers and their spouses and their descendants." And Allah may elevate the descendants of the believer to his degree in Paradise as an honor to him.

It is proven by legal evidence that believers will see their Lord in the Hereafter, and from that is the Almighty's saying: "Some faces, that Day, will be radiant, looking at their Lord." And looking at the face of Allah is the "increase" upon the good (Paradise).

Allah will cast love and affection into the hearts of the people of Paradise and remove ill-will from them, and He will make husbands beloved to their wives so that their bliss may be complete. The believing woman's focus should be on righteous deeds that qualify her to enter Paradise and elevate her status therein.
