The answer

It is permissible to describe a person or a medicine as "Latif" (subtle/gentle), and there is no harm in using something upon which this is written, as long as it is not intended to refer to Allah Almighty or His attribute. The name "Al-Latif" is one of Allah's Most Beautiful Names, but it is not among the names exclusively reserved for Him that cannot be used for anyone else. The description "Latif" has been used for other than Allah Almighty in prophetic hadiths.
