Is the questioner sinful for involuntarily hearing music because his brother, who knows it is forbidden, plays it in the car while driving him home?

One who hears music while disliking it is not sinful, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When a sin is committed on earth, he who witnesses it and dislikes it is like one who was absent from it." A Muslim should enjoin good and forbid evil to the best of their ability, such as advising their brother kindly or gifting him a tape by a scholar discussing the harms of this disobedience.
