What is the ruling on listening to music, and does it affect my siblings?

The questioner's brothers are sinning by listening to music. He is obligated to advise them and caution them about Allah. If they respond, then praise be to Allah. If they do not respond, he should not sit with them while they are listening to music, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "And when you hear the verses of Allah disbelieved in and ridiculed, do not sit with them until they enter into another conversation." And whoever errs and sits with them, let him repent and increase his repentance, for Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
