Is a woman permitted to remove her mustache if it is large and prominent, given her father’s objection to that, and what is the way to convince her father?

Legally, it is permissible for a woman to remove hair from her beard and mustache. In fact, some scholars have gone as far as to say that it is obligatory to remove it because it goes against the natural disposition (fitra), and leaving it disfigures a woman. Therefore, you must remove any hair that grows in the mustache and beard area, and you are not obliged to obey your father if he forbids you from doing so.
