Has my supplication to be delivered from falling into forbidden acts been answered by my marriage to the young man who proposed to me after my prayers in Ramadan, and towards whom I felt comfort and a sense of answered prayer, especially since he lives in Germany and I do not wish to be associated with anyone else?

If the suitor is a man of good character and religious commitment, there is no harm in being eager for him and wishing for him to be your destiny. Indeed, Allah the Almighty is near and answers the prayers of His servants, and He is too shy to turn their hands away empty. You have done well in performing the Istikhara prayer. If he is destined for you, it will happen. If he is turned away from you, then know that there is no good in him for you. The feeling of inner peace after Istikhara is an indication of what is good, unless that feeling of peace is due to a pre-existing desire. After Istikhara, one should act upon what brings inner peace, while abandoning any previous preference. So, entrust your matter to Allah after taking the prescribed means, and rest assured that nothing will happen except what is good for you.
