"Your presence in an environment of sins and abominations harms your religion and the religion of your wife and children, and makes the children accustomed to them. Leaving this house is a benefit that is met by the harm of disobeying your mother, angering her, and her threatening you with magic. We advise you to try to convince your mother to agree to your departure in order to preserve your religion and the religion of your family. If you do not succeed in convincing her, then the advice is to leave, because 'there is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to Allah Almighty.'"
