Is the work of Muslims today in hotels similar to the work of our master Isma'il, peace be upon him, with one of the kings?

It is not known that Ishmael (peace be upon him) worked for kings; rather, he earned his living through hunting. Joseph (peace be upon him), on the other hand, worked in the house of Al-Aziz under duress. The rulings of our Sharia take precedence over the rulings of those who came before us. Therefore, it is not permissible for Muslims to work in anything that leads to haram (unlawful acts), and working in hotels often involves committing haram or assisting in it.
