Is it permissible to pray for a friend to love the supplicant more than her other friend and to remain with her always?

The sister should ask Allah of His bounty and not invoke against her friend for the hatred of their friendship or the cessation of love between them. Rather, there is no harm in her asking Allah to increase her love in her friend's heart, if this love is legitimate, for Allah and in Allah, or a natural love that is untainted by anything. However, if it is an illegitimate love, then caution must be exercised, and it is not permissible to wish for its continuation.
