If performing ghusl at home is difficult due to harm or increased illness, then ghusl must be performed in an available public bath before the prayer time expires. Otherwise, tayammum should be performed in place of ghusl, without delaying the prayer. Missed prayers must be made up, and the ignorant and the forgetful are absolved of sin.
