Are four separate utterances of divorce, made by the husband with the intention that he can reconcile with his wife each time, considered an irrevocable divorce (طلاق بائن) that necessitates a new marriage contract and dowry, or is there another solution for them to reunite without a tahlil marriage?

Firstly: Divorce takes place through writing or messages if the husband intended divorce. However, if he wrote it without the intention of divorce, it does not take effect.

Secondly: If the husband wrote a divorce with the intention of divorce, the divorce takes effect, and he is not excused for his ignorance of the consequences thereof. As Sheikh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy on him, clarified, ignorance of the punishment is not an excuse; rather, the excuse is ignorance of the ruling.
