What is the meaning of the name "Al-Khabir"?

"Al-Khabir" is one of the names of Allah, the Exalted. It is an intensive form of "khibrah" (expertise), meaning knowledge of the realities of things. Al-Khabir is the Knower of what was and what will be; nothing is hidden from Him on Earth or in the heavens. He is the Knower of the essence of a thing and is privy to its true nature. The difference between 'ilm (knowledge) and khabar ( खबर) is that khabar includes knowledge of the essence of information according to its realities, thus it contains an added meaning beyond 'ilm. And Allah is Al-Khabir concerning what you do means He possesses comprehensive knowledge of the deeds of His servants and will recompense them for them.
