In the two-rak'ah prayer after Witr – which was mentioned by Ibn al-Qayyim and al-Albani – is the قبض (holding) performed during the first sitting, or after standing up to complete the recitation?

It is prescribed for a worshipper praying while seated to clasp (place his right hand over his left) during recitation, as the jurists stated: "It is sunnah (definition) to place one's hands below his chest and above his navel when standing, or in its stead." Similarly, it is recommended for one praying while seated to sit cross-legged for recitation and in the iftirash position for prostration.
