Is it permissible to acquire money through gambling for the purpose of marriage and chastity, given that earnings from work are insufficient to achieve this?

It is not permissible to obtain money through unlawful means like gambling, and the need for marriage does not justify it. A man must seek lawful sustenance and be patient regarding marriage by fasting. "And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect." What is with Allah cannot be attained except through obedience to Him.
