Is it permissible to ask or help a female colleague during travel and look after her interests, taking into consideration that she is a neighbor and the questioner was subjected to blame from her father and his fear of temptation for himself?

It is permissible to assist a non-mahram woman and attend to her needs, provided that there is no fear of temptation (fitna) and the limits of Sharia are observed. Thus, private seclusion (khalwa) or suspicious intermingling (ikhtilat) are not permissible. If there is a fear of temptation, then it is not permissible, even if it were originally permissible.
