You are advised to be patient and supplicate, and to strive to marry a righteous man who will help you in matters of your religion and worldly life. It is permissible for a woman, Islamically, to seek a righteous husband. It is permissible for you to live with your female friends if you are secure from temptation. It is permissible to travel abroad if you are secure regarding yourself and your religion in that country, bearing in mind that the original ruling is that it is not permissible for a woman to travel without a mahram (definition), although some scholars have permitted it in cases of need and security from temptation.
