Is blowing into cupped hands while reciting Surat Al-Ikhlas and the two Mu'awwidhatayn as part of the morning and evening remembrances a Sunnah or an innovation?

There is no evidence to prove the permissibility of "nafth" (light spitting or blowing with some saliva) specifically in the morning and evening remembrances (adhkar). However, "nafth" is established in the remembrances before sleep, in ruqyah (exorcism/healing through supplication), and upon seeing something disliked in a dream. Some scholars have analogized the permissibility of "nafth" during Quran recitation and prescribed dhikr based on these instances. However, the correct opinion is that what is not proven by evidence from the Quran and Sunnah is not legislated to be adhered to. Therefore, it is not legislated to adhere to "nafth" and wiping the body after the morning and evening remembrances.
