Is it permissible to postpone a vow, and must the price of the vow (the sacrifice) be from one's personal money, or can it be from a loan?

Fulfilling a vow is obligatory and is one of the characteristics of the righteous. Whoever vows an act of obedience and intends to perform it at a specific time, it is not permissible to delay it except for a legitimate excuse. If they delay it without an excuse, they have sinned, and they must fulfill it along with an expiation for breaking an oath. However, if the delay is due to a legitimate excuse, there is no sin and no expiation, but they must still fulfill it. If the vow is absolute (not restricted by time), there is no harm in delaying it, but one should hasten to fulfill it. It is permissible to take a loan to fulfill a vow if the person is able to repay it.
