Does divorce occur with the statement "By God, your divorce paper will reach you" during the engagement period (Malakah), and is expiation (kaffarah) for an oath required for the angry speaker who did not intend divorce?

One who swears the aforementioned oath is required to offer expiation for an oath if he breaks it. The ruling concerning breaking the oath depends on understanding the intention and purpose of the one who swore it. Therefore, he must consult trustworthy scholars and act upon their fatwa.
