What is the religious ruling on engaging in sodomy or fornication with non-Muslims, and what is the religious ruling if a worker is asked to engage in fornication or sodomy under threat of salary cut or dismissal from work, especially if he is a family man?

Adultery is forbidden, whether the woman involved is a disbeliever or not, due to the generality of Allah’s Almighty saying: "And do not approach unlawful sexual intercourse. Indeed, it is ever an immorality and is evil as a way" [Al-Isra 17:32]. And the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "No fornicator is a believer at the time he commits fornication." The crime of sodomy is more heinous and repulsive than adultery, and it is a violation of natural disposition. The punishment for adultery for an unmarried person is one hundred lashes and exile for one year, and for a married person, it is stoning. As for the punishment for sodomy, it is killing both the perpetrator and the one upon whom it is perpetrated, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "If you find anyone doing the action of the people of Lut, kill the one who does it and the one to whom it is done." The work of expatriates as their employees does not permit them to commit adultery with someone who demands it from them, even if she threatens to cut their salary or deport them. Piety towards Allah is a cause for sustenance and problem-solving, as Allah Almighty says: "And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out. And will provide for him from where he does not expect" [At-Talaq 65:2-3]. And whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better.
