A wife must obey her husband in matters of intimacy. She is not permitted to refuse except for a valid excuse, such as being unable or being harmed by intercourse, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There should be neither harming nor reciprocating harm." So, if her refusal is due to her strong belief that stool will be discharged from him during intercourse, she is permitted to refuse. However, if it is merely due to a doubt, she is not permitted to refuse, for the 기본 principle is the obligation to obey in bed.
