Trimming nails during the day in Ramadan is permissible without being disliked. The default state of things is permissibility. The one who does it will be rewarded if he intends to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "There are five acts that are part of the fitra (natural disposition)," and he mentioned among them "...trimming the nails."
