What is the distribution of inheritance if the heirs are a (grandson from a son) and a (full brother)?

If the deceased leaves no heirs other than those mentioned, then his entire estate goes to his grandson (son's son) by way of ta’sib (agnatic inheritance), and his full brother receives nothing, as he is excluded by the grandson. Ibn al-Mundhir said: “They (the scholars) have unanimously agreed that full brothers and sisters, and paternal brothers and sisters, whether male or female, do not inherit with a son, nor with a grandson, however far removed, nor with a father.”
