Is the location of Shaddad's paradise, mentioned in the narrations, now known, given that he died before entering it?

Some exegetes mentioned that Shaddad ibn 'Ad built a great city which he named "Iram of the Pillars," in imitation of the Garden of Eden. When its construction was complete, and before he could enter it with his family, Allah sent a cry upon them that destroyed them.

However, verified scholars, such as Ibn Kathir and Ibn Khaldun, denied this story and considered it among the fables of storytellers and Isra'iliyyat (Judeo-Christian traditions), affirming that "Iram" in the verse refers to the tribe of 'Ad and not to a city.
