What is the way to return to the path of guidance and righteousness after neglecting prayers and not performing them on time, feeling intense distress, and being unable to read the Qur’an, and is this an indication of the sealing of the heart?

Satan entices man to cause him to despair of God's mercy; therefore, one must repent and strive in worship. A bad deed is followed by another bad deed, so sins must be removed with sincere repentance. God accepts those who repent and does not reject those who strive, and His mercy is vast. Missed prayers must be made up, and some scholars consider the one who abandons prayer to be a disbeliever. Missed Friday prayers must be made up as Dhuhr prayers along with repentance. Nothing should be asked for by the Face of God except Paradise.
