Is it permissible for a woman to use pills to prevent menstruation during the last ten days of Ramadan in order to perform worship?

Praise be to Allah.

It is not permissible to use birth control pills for the sake of worship, because menstruation is something Allah has decreed upon the daughters of Adam. This is confirmed in the story of Aisha during the Farewell Pilgrimage when she menstruated while in a state of ihram for Umrah, and the Prophet ﷺ told her that this is something Allah has decreed upon the daughters of Adam. Furthermore, these pills are harmful to the womb and blood and may cause fetal deformity. When a woman menstruates and leaves prayer and fasting, this is by the will of Allah and not in her hands.
