The answer

The salary earned by a working daughter is her private property. It is unanimously agreed that she must spend on her needy parents. Her parents are permitted to take from her money according to their needs, based on the Prophet's (PBUH) saying: "You and your wealth belong to your father," and his saying: "Indeed, the purest of what you consume is from your earnings, and the wealth of your children is from your earnings." She is allowed to save whatever she wishes from her money after providing for her own expenses and those of her parents. She is not obligated to inform them about what she saves, but she must be careful not to lie. She can use allusive language or circumlocution.
