As for service brokerage (simsarah), it is permissible under two conditions: that the service be permissible, and that the brokerage fee be known to both parties. As for marketing designs based on the "like" system as a ju'ala (reward-based contract), it is a void and impermissible contract, because ju'ala requires the result of the work to be specified, and the condition of "liking" makes the result unregulated, which may lead to the designer's effort being wasted.
