How can a girl stabilize her heart with contentment over delayed marriage, and rid herself of the involuntary feelings of distress and sorrow that overcome her with each passing year of her life, especially now that she has entered her fourth decade?

The girl must know that Allah's choice for her is better than her own choice, and that Allah knows best what is in her interest and is more merciful to her. He is All-Wise, placing things in their proper places. Therefore, she must submit to His judgment and be content with His decree, certain that it contains good for her. Nevertheless, she should strive in supplication and entreaty to Allah to grant her what she loves, for Allah loves the persistence of those who supplicate and answers the call of the caller.
