The feeling of fear of spinsterhood is natural for a girl whose marriage is delayed, but she should not surrender to it. Instead, she should emerge from isolation and depression by engaging in charitable work and useful activities such as memorizing the Quran, caring for parents, or inviting people to Allah.

There is a Quranic remedy, which is Allah Almighty's saying: (And let those who find not [the means for] marriage abstain [from sexual relations] until Allah enriches them from His bounty). This remedy is achieved by: - Persisting in supplication and asking Allah for His bounty. - Practicing abstinence and its requirements, such as fasting, obedience, attending knowledge gatherings, and memorizing the Quran. - Being reassured that marriage is a provision from Allah that seeks out its owner.

The girl should find solace by looking at those less fortunate than her, and realize that she is normal even if her marriage is delayed. She must live a normal life and invest her time in social and service activities, for life does not stop at marriage, and it is not the end of the road. Whoever cannot marry, let him fast and fill his free time with what benefits and fortifies the soul.
