What options and advice are available for a 27-year-old man who finds it extremely difficult to get married due to several reasons (incompatibility, lack of financial means, family disputes), and is suffering from increasing sexual urges and fears falling into zina, knowing that he has exerted his utmost effort in prayer, dhikr, and associating with the righteous?

A Muslim must remain steadfast in obedience and ask Allah for steadfastness, for supplication is a means of steadfastness.

The best solution is marriage, as it protects one's private parts and lowers one's gaze. For those unable to marry, they should fast or take medications that calm desires. There is no obedience to parents if they prevent one from marrying without a valid excuse, provided one is capable of it. If marriage is not possible, one must seek chastity by taking measures that help endure, such as obedience and fasting, and by avoiding factors that arouse desire, such as forbidden looking and listening. Allah has promised the chaste richness from His bounty.
