What is your advice for an 18-year-old young man who suffers from intense lust and fears falling into zina (fornication/adultery) or liwat (sodomy) – Allah Almighty forbid – despite his fasting and Quran recitation, and who has repented from practicing masturbation?

To overcome what you are suffering from, take the initiative to marry, for it is a fortress and a cure. Adhere to obedience to Allah and His worship, for Satan has no power over the sincere. Be keen on associating with the righteous and avoid solitude. Occupy yourself with permissible work or beneficial study, for idleness is an invitation to whispers (of evil). If evil thoughts come to you, repel them by remembering Allah, praying, and reciting the Qur'an.
