Is marriage a solution for a person with homosexual tendencies who conceals his matter and desires chastity? And is he sinful if he is unable to satisfy his wife, or if his desire betrays him? And should he inform his wife of his condition if she senses his distance from him?
Whoever finds such feelings within himself must resort to Allah with supplication to repel them, and hasten to marriage if he fears falling into temptation, for it then becomes an obligation upon him, as marriage purifies the soul and protects it from the unlawful.
And what he fears concerning the aversion of desire or the inability to satisfy his wife is a whisper from Satan, so he must seek refuge in Allah and hasten to marriage, for in it there is chastity and protection.
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O young people, whoever among you can afford to marry, let him do so, for it helps him lower his gaze and guard his chastity."
And let him beware of disclosing this affliction to anyone, and let him conceal it with Allah's concealment. And he must frequently perform prayers and remember Allah, for "prayer forbids indecency and evil," and the remembrance of Allah is greater than any sin remaining with him, and it is a strong fortress against Satan.
