Anger is from Satan, and among the most beloved things to him is to separate between spouses. Your statement to your wife's mother, "I will divorce your daughter," is a promise of divorce by which divorce does not occur. As for your statement to your mother, "I have divorced my wife," if it was a pronouncement of divorce, then divorce has occurred. But if it was an informative statement, then it is a lie and divorce does not occur by it.
