What is the ruling on a husband abandoning his wife outside the home for the most trivial reasons, knowing that the disagreements were due to his communication with other women, and the husband requested abandonment, then separation, then divorce after his return from Umrah?

A husband is not permitted to abandon his wife unless she is disobedient (nashiz) after he has admonished her. Abandonment should be in the conjugal bed, and verbal abandonment should not exceed three days. It is permissible for a husband to abandon his disobedient wife outside the home. If a husband abandons his wife without a valid reason, he is oppressing her, and she is permitted to seek a divorce from him. If the husband converses with non-mahram women, he is committing a sin, and the wife must forbid him from this evil. If the husband abandons or divorces her because of this, he is unjust. The wife is permitted to waive some of her rights, such as equal division of time and financial support, if the husband wishes to divorce her and she desires to remain with him.
