Why do I worship a Lord who does not guide me to Him, and what is the difference between me and an idol worshipper if He does not answer my prayers and guide me to Him?

The proofs of Allah Almighty's existence and His Lordship over His creation are clear and manifest. His existence is more established than the existence of our own selves, for our need for a Creator is a definitive proof of the Creator's existence. The answering of prayers is not the sole proof of Allah's existence, but its presence generally suffices as a proof. Stories of those whose prayers Allah answered are numerous and available in various books and sources.
