What you did with your wife is not considered expelling her from the house. She must return to your home, and it is not permissible for her to leave her father's house without your permission.

We advise you to strive to bring her back to your home, and to involve some religious scholars to reconcile between you. Otherwise, refer the matter to the Sharia court.

If her request for divorce is merely due to a disagreement, then it is not permissible for her to do so. However, if it is for a reason that permits her to request a divorce, then there is no blame upon her.

In the event of a divorce, the wife must reside in her husband's house, the one she lived in at the time of separation, until her 'iddah period ends.
