Is what was mentioned concerning the states of the hypocrites on the Day of Resurrection – their inability to prostrate during the gathering, their being prevented from drinking from the Basin, and the extinguishing of their light when crossing the Sirat – correct?

These three categories of people are known as hypocrites on the Day of Judgment. The text is clear regarding the first and third categories, while the second is less supported by evidence. Al-Qurtubi mentioned that those who will be driven away from the Basin are all those who apostatized from Allah's religion, or introduced innovations into it that are displeasing to Allah, as well as the oppressors, those who exceed bounds in tyranny, those who openly commit major sins, and the people of deviation, desires, and innovations, and among them are the hypocrites who outwardly show faith but inwardly conceal disbelief. Ibn 'Uthaymeen said that the Basin will be reached by the believer in Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, but not by the hypocrite or the pure disbeliever.
