The money and property of a deceased divorced woman are distributed among her heirs, and her ex-husband is not among them. If she dies leaving a mother, two sons, and a daughter, the mother receives one-sixth, and the remainder is distributed among the children by ta‘ṣīb (agnatic inheritance), with the male receiving the share of two females. The share of a son who dies after his mother is distributed among his heirs, including his father (his mother's ex-husband) if he is alive, or his heirs. So, if any of them dies before receiving their share, their share passes to their heirs.
