Believing in this attribute entails acting upon what Allah loves, which is permissible adornment, for "Indeed, Allah is beautiful and loves beauty." Ibn al-Qayyim explained that His beauty, glory be to Him, encompasses His Essence, attributes, actions, and names, and the beauty of creation is but one of the effects of His beauty, for He is Absolute Beauty. The beauty of the Essence cannot be comprehended, and the people of Paradise will forget their bliss upon seeing Him. As for the beauty of the names, all of them are beautiful and indicative of praise, glory, and beauty. The beauty of the attributes is all perfection and glory, and the beauty of the actions is all goodness, mercy, justice, and wisdom.
